Safety

For over 20 years of running attractions, the safety of our guests and team members has and will always be our top priority.

We want everybody to have a fun-tastic time here at Digbeth Fun Fair – a brilliant experience to remember.

The COVID-19 crisis means we are operating more vigilantly than ever. We have set our standards above and beyond official Government requirements.

Our standard safety procedures still apply.

However COVID-19 means we have extra measures in place...

We ask respectfully that all our guests respect our rules so everyone is happy and secure whilst visiting us.

FRESH AIR

We are an open-air venue, so are authorised to operate from 12 April 2021

  • Pre-booking is not required, but when you visit you will be required to use the NHS Test & Trace system. This can be done easily by a QR code accessed by your mobile phone. A paper-based option will also be available.

  • Random temperature checks will be carried out, so please do not feel offended if you are asked by our team to participate.

  • We are electronically monitoring the number of people entering and exiting the site to ensure our capacity is within the law and all our guests are comfortable

  • Hand sanitiser dispensers will be located at each ride and around the site generally. We would ask all or guests to make use of these frequently.

  • Each attraction will be sanitised after each guest exits, so you will have a clean ride every time.

  • The site will have floor markings to help guide you around under social distancing requirements. Queuing and one-way systems will be in place.

  • We ask that you respect the "Rule of Six" in terms of group. We will we be vigilant in enforcing this with our COVID Marshalls, professional security staff and CCTV monitoring.

  • Bag checks upon entry may be required.

  • For the safety and comfort of our guests and team members there will be a dedicated operations centre by the front gate. This will deal with any guest enquires, have friendly security officers, dedicated COVID Marshalls and operate CCTV. This operations centre provides First Aid, a meeting place for lost children or property and any other issues. We also have extensive toilet and hand washing facilities on site.

  • All team members will be easily identifiable by their branded uniforms.

  • We operate an "Ask For Angela" policy. Anyone feeling uncomfortable can approach any member of our team at any time and be immediately escorted to a safe space. Our Security Industry Authority licensed officers will then ensure any issue is resolved professionally and discreetly.

Please appreciate that these measures may take a little extra time to complete.
We hope you appreciate that is for the safety of all our guests and team members.
